Central Coast BodyBoarders (CCBB) was started in 1982 by a handful of passionate bodyboarders, which proudly makes it one of the longest running bodyboard clubs in Australia and is now aiming for over 100 members in 2015. It is a Bodyboarding club for all ages ranging from 12-42 years old and skill levels that meet on alternating months at the end of Ocean Street, North Avoca and at North Entrance Surf Club. The club is run by members and volunteers, who dedicate their personal time for the sport that they love.

 

A typical club day at CCBB consists of fun supervised competitive Bodyboarding, where every one gets to socialise, have a burger from the BBQ and participate in local competition Bodyboarding. Bodyboarders of all levels come together to generally have a relaxed day of fun in the sun, where they can hone their skills in bodyboarding, administration and judging.

 

Each member who competes gain's points for judging and earning placing's in their heats. The first four place getters are announced at the end of each day from each division. Every one's points gained through out the year go towards prizes, which are presented to competitors at an end of season presentation night. Competitors are presented with trophies and prizes including; Bodyboards and gift vouchers, which are donated by sponsors.
